KINGSBURY OFFERS A RANGE OF RAMADAN MEALS

-

During the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast every day from sunrise to sunset. Fasting is one of the five pillars of the Islamic faith and Ramadan is a time of spiritual discipline, increased charity, generosity, and fellowship. To break the fast, a meal known as Iftar (literally, breaking of the fast) is consumed.

During this sacred month of Ramadan, The Kingsbury Colombo brings to you several meal options worth sharing with your loved ones.

On The Kingsbury Indulgence platform, you can choose from the Premium and Deluxe Break Fast meals, Kidu Rice Meals or Biriyani meals; each portion sufficient for 4-6 persons. From Date Milkshakes, to Chicken and Rice Kanjito Malay Pasthol, Cheese and Spinach Sambusek, to desserts such as Muhalabia. The Break Fast options are perfect for sharing with friends and family this season.

The Kidu Rice, an all-time favourite during Ramadan, comes with Potato Curry, Dhal Curry, Sweet Mango Curry, Kaliya Curry(deep-fried ash plantains with brinjals), and Keeri Samba Rice, and offers the meat options of either Chicken or Beef. The Biriyani meals offer a choice of Chicken, Lamb, Mutton, Jumbo Prawns or Lobster.
