Suspects released on personal bail worth Rs 100,000

22 in the Polonnaruwa Magistrate Court ten suspects, three defender vehicles and one jeep which had entered the sanctuary. Polonnaruwa Magistrate Harshana Dhanushka Ratnayake had ordered to remand the suspects till September 24. Wild Life officers told this newspaper that the Polonnaruwa Magistrate had ordered that each suspect be released on personal bail worth Rs 100,000 and the owner of each defender be slapped with a bond worth Rs 2 million and each of the other two vehicles be slapped with a bond worth Rupees 8 million. The case will be taken up again on December 06.
