Major Club Limited Over from October 27

Sri Lanka Cricket has finalized all arrangements to conduct the Major Club Limited Over cricket tournament, the first domestic cricket tournament for the year 2021, from October 27. The tournament will see 26 teams divided into two groups of 13 teams each, battle it out for glory.

The teams in Group A comprises of NCC, Army SC, Moors SC, Navy SC, Kurunegala YCC, CCC, Negombo CC, Nugegoda S&WC, BRC, Kandy Customs SC, Kalutara TC, Lankan CC and Air Force SC while in Group B, the teams are Ragama CC, Badureliya CC, Tamil Union, SSC, Bloomfield, Colts CC, Saracens SC, Chilaw Marians CC, Galle CC, Panadura SC, Police SC, Sebastianites CC and Ace Capitol CC.

The tournament will start off with 12 matches down for decision with venues not confirmed yet. The scheduled matches so far are Army SC vs Air Force SC, Badureliya CC vs Ace Capitol CC, Moors SC vs Lankan CC, Tamil Union vs Sebastianites CC, Navy SC vs Kalutara TC, SSC vs Police SC, Kurunegala YCC vs Kandy Customs SC, Bloomfield vs Panadura SC, CCC vs BRC, Colts CC vs Galle CC, Negombo CC vs Nugegoda S&WC, and Saracens SC vs Chilaw Marians CC.
