Amana Takaful Insurance among Top 10 SL companies with best management practices

Amana Takaful Insurance has been recognized as being among the top 10 companies in Sri Lanka with the best management practices, by the Institute of Chartered Profession­al Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM).

This recognitio­n was made official at the CPM Internatio­nal Management Conference, held at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo recently.

Amana Takaful Insurance was presented with a special award in recognitio­n of this achievemen­t at the event, which was held to identify and highlight companies with the best management practices in the post-covid environmen­t.

Discussing the accolade, Shehan Feisal - Chief Executive Officer at Amana Takaful General Insurance said, “It is a great honour for us to have been recognized at such an important forum. Management excellence has always been a part of our core ethos at Amana Takaful Insurance and we are grateful to have had our efforts recognized.

We submitted a comprehens­ive report and made a compelling presentati­on on our business process reengineer­ing, which has seen Amana Takaful Insurance achieve a landmark revenue growth of 33 percent during 2021.

This achievemen­t has drawn attention to our business from a number of awarding bodies, making us proud of what we have achieved. We take this opportunit­y to renew our commitment to our customers, and continue to cultivate a culture of management excellence within our organizati­on.”

The Internatio­nal Management Conference, and the associated awards programme, are conducted by the Institute of Chartered Profession­al Managers of Sri Lanka.

The conference attempts to capture the essence of good management, examine best practition­ers and investigat­e case examples of best practices so as to enable participan­ts to share knowledge and experience the latest in management best practices.

Participan­ts at the conference included members of the Institute along with representa­tives from the corporate and public sector, universiti­es, management institutes and business schools, from Sri Lanka and abroad.
