Citizens Developmen­t Business Finance remained as the only unbeaten team with four wins on the trot, in the 29th Singer-mca Super Premier League 2022.

CDB beat John Keells by 18 runs and then beat Sampath Bank by four wickets.

Meanwhile, debutants Mode Engineerin­g proved to be a force to reckon with, when they scored a convincing four-wicket win over the 2021 league winner Hayleys Group -Mode Engineerin­g’s third win out of four and Hayley’s third defeat out of four.

Dilshan Munaweera continued his supreme form for HNB with another belligeren­t 80 runs vs. John Keells, but HNB lost the game by 32 runs, despite Munaweera’s blitz.

Munaweera has three 50s in four outings.
