Day two of warm-up reduced to 10 overs

The second day of Sri Lanka’s warm-up match against the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI was also rain affected, with only 10 overs of play possible at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan No 3 Ground, Savar yesterday. Oshada Fernando (26 n.o.) and Kusal Mendis (22 n.o.) remained unbeaten, adding 36 runs to their overnight score of 14 for 1 in 8.3 overs.

This is Sri Lanka’s only warm-up match ahead of the two Test series against Bangladesh.

The first Test will begin on May 19 in Chattogram while the second Test is scheduled to be played in Mirpur starting May 23.
