Will Ranil swim or sink?

-

When AKD made a serious public disclosure about daylight robberies of peoples’ money using various ruses by some politicos and their kith and kin including henchmen, a handful of alleged culprits jumped up and said its all hocus and pocus of ADK, made to defame the rulers clan further.

We, the public also don’t know if documents are truthful or not, but on the other hand, ADK aspiring to be the leader of our country will not make wrongful allegations at this crucial juncture. nothing will happen now beyond alleged culprits/robbers denial via media announcements.the alleged culprits thought by their denial and threat of law suits they could save their faces. They will never go to courts for defamation as all dirty linen and skeletons in cupboards will become public and will have dire consequences on their children’s political future. People know how government dept. bribery and corruption authority in Sri Lanka works. We know how they use delaying tactics etc. So will Bribery Commission liquid hearing be fruitful?

Now majority of masses think and believe that Ranil was appointed to save the robber barons. It is time for the new PM to show that this thinking is wrong. Is he there to swim with wrong doers or to sink with them and to put them behind bars and to arrange to recover the looted alleged wealth of the country? SUMITH DE SILVA
