Granting compensation to MPS who lost property SF says he has not objected

SJB MP Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka said yesterday he has not objected to granting compensation to parliamentarians who lost their houses and property due to the recent violent incidents.

He told Parliament that the law should be implemented against those involved in the attack on ‘Gotagogama’ protesters and violent incidents thereafter. He said the perpetrators of the incident involving the Galle Face protests should be brought to book without passing the buck to each other.
