CABINET SIZE TO BE INCREASED TO 25

● Douglas, Jeewan Thondaman, Mahinda Amaraweera among new ministers to be sworn in ● 13 Cabinet Ministers have been sworn in by the president on two occasions

● Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) and the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) will join the new government

Ten more Cabinet Ministers are slated to be sworn in today increasing the size of the Cabinet of the new government to 25 including President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesi­nghe Daily Mirror learns.

Already 13 Cabinet Ministers have been sworn in by the president on two occasions.

Daily Mirror learns that Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) and the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) will join the new government.

EPDP leader Douglas Devananda is also among the ministers to be appointed today . Besides , CWC General Secretary Jeewan Thondaman is tipped to be appointed upon his return to the country from India.

Representi­ng the SLFP , MP Mahinda Amaraweera will be appointed Agricultur­e Minister .
