LEARNERS FROM SRI LANKA ACHIEVE TOP RESULTS IN OUTSTANDING CAMBRIDGE LEARNER AWARDS

The awards also celebrate the achievements of those learners who have been recognized for ‘High Achievement’, based on outstanding performance in subjects which are not yet so widely taken in Sri Lanka, and learners who have achieved the total highest cumulative marks across several subjects. The winning learners out-performed thousands of candidates worldwide who sat Cambridge IGCSES and Cambridge International AS & A Levels.

Cambridge Assessment International Education is delighted to announce the winners of the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in Sri Lanka. The awards celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of secondary school learners in Sri Lanka in the June 2022 Cambridge examination series.

Over 85 learners in Sri Lanka will receive awards for exceptional performance in Cambridge examinations, including 7 learners who achieved the highest marks in the world and 49 learners who attained the highest marks in Sri Lanka in a single subject.

The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards programme celebrates the success of learners taking Cambridge examinations in over 40 countries around the world. Cambridge places learners at the center of their international education programmes and qualifications which are inspired by the best in educational thinking.

The awards also celebrate the achievements of those learners who have been recognized for ‘High Achievement’, based on outstanding performance in subjects which are not yet so widely taken in Sri Lanka, and learners who have achieved the total highest cumulative marks across several subjects.

The winning learners outperformed thousands of candidates worldwide who sat Cambridge IGCSES and Cambridge International AS & A Levels.

The popularity of Cambridge International AS & A Levels and Cambridge O Levels continues to grow in Sri Lanka. STEM subjects are popular but subjects like business studies, accounting, computer science, and Cambridge Global Perspectives are also a popular choice among students.

The top performing students will receive their Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards at a special ceremony on the 02 December 2022.
