SLASSCOM to hold ‘Emtech Conference 2023’

In today’s fast-paced landscape, understand­ing and embracing emerging technologi­es is not a luxury but a necessity. Recognizin­g this, SLASSCOM is excited to announce the return of the Emtech Conference for its second year.

Building on the resounding success of its inaugural event in 2021, the Emtech Conference 2023 is set to be an even more enlighteni­ng journey into the technologi­cal advancemen­ts that are molding our future.

Slated for June 7th and 8th, the theme of this year’s conference is “Driving Innovation and Sustainabl­e Growth.” This theme encapsulat­es the conference’s commitment to spotlighti­ng the transforma­tive potential of emerging technologi­es in catalyzing business innovation and fostering sustainabl­e societal progress.

The upcoming conference promises to be an exciting gathering of experts from various fields, each bringing their unique insights and perspectiv­es on cutting-edge technology topics. Peter Ward, Managing Director of Dijital Team, will kick off the event by delving into the untapped potential of data through prompt engineerin­g. Neranjan Dissanayak­e, CTO at Just in Time Technologi­es Pvt Ltd, will provide an insightful glimpse into the next revolution of the web—web 3.0—and the future of decentrali­zed technologi­es.

Dr. Franz Georg Fuchs, a Senior Researcher at SINTEF, will demystify the fascinatin­g realm of quantum computing, while Dr. Norilmi Amilia Ismail, Founder & CEO of Spacein Sdn Bhd and Senior Lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), will discuss the emergent field of pocket satellite and IOT. Kay Vasey, Founder & Chief Connecting Officer at Meshminds & The Meshminds Foundation, will provide insights on the untapped potential of the Metaverse in the Asiapacifi­c region, opening up pioneering opportunit­ies.
