Shivani Vasagam Wedanayake

Model and beauty queen Shivani Vasagam Wedanayake was one of the most photographed cover girls in Sri Lanka in the 1990s. And she remains unchanged to this day; one is immediately struck by her elegance, as well as her charming and friendly manner. Yet, there’s so much more than beauty to Shivani. She is also a devoted mother to her two sons, the cofounder of one of the country’s first web development businesses and a published poet.

Respected for her talent, dedication and professionalism, Shivani has parlayed her firsthand experience in multiple international competitions as a judge, trainer and motivational speaker. As such, she spends her time grooming candidates who enter local beauty and modelling competitions seeking to represent

Sri Lanka on the international stage.

Here’s a woman who believes in giving every endeavour her absolute focus and commitment. From the time she was a little girl, Shivani claims to have known that hers would not be a traditional path.

Dedicated to her family, children and profession, Shivani considers herself first and foremost a citizen of Sri Lanka. Passionate about promoting her beloved country, her heart is set on accomplishing something out of the ordinary.

Having come a long way on the road to achieving that dream, Shivani is ready to take that next important step in a role she feels is around the corner.
