THE KINGSBURY

-

Despite being terribly shaken by the recent terror attacks, The Kingsbury took it upon itself to get back on its feet and restore normalcy – a responsibility it felt it owed its clientele, staff, suppliers, third party partners and the hospitality sector as a whole.

Since then, a number of loyal guests from abroad have returned to The

Kingsbury, demonstrating their support.

The hotel has detailed security procedures in place to ensure the safety of guests, and the armed forces stationed around the premises are a source of comfort for everyone. The

Kingsbury strongly believes that the more extensive and thorough the security measures are, the safer and more secure guests and employees will feel. Weddings and other events are taking place as usual and many overseas guests have expressed their wish to visit soon.

Sri Lanka’s intelligence service is doing its best, and tourists are already coming back to explore and experience the magic that this island has to offer. Sri Lanka was voted the number one destination to visit in 2019 by

Lonely Planet and all the elements that gave Sri Lanka this title still exist.

The country will bounce back. Its resplendence, beauty and richness can’t be taken away. The Kingsbury is confident that the government, the

Ministry of Tourism and related partners will work together to rebuild the trust of tourists to visit this wonderful country once again.
