Q: How would you describe yourself to our viewers?

A: First and foremost, I am a mother, housewife, self-taught makeup artist, car reviewer and women’s empowerment blogger!

Q:

From makeup to cars, where do these diverse passions stem from?

A: My love for makeup comes from my mother. I was eight years old and my mom was a beautician at the time so I fell in love with the art straight away!

As for cars, that love developed later. I was about 17 and driving my dad’s sports car, and my liking for fast cars intensified after I met my husband. I first met him at the repair centre he runs. We bonded instantly over our love for fast cars... and the rest is history!

Q: What three tips would you give women when it comes to vehicles?

A: The first is to know how to drive your car well and abide by all the road rules. The second is to maintain your vehicle in top condition so that you don’t have to end up spending large sums of money on repairs. And last not least, understand your vehicle! Know what a warning light on your dash is indicating and learn how to change a tyre.

These are the basic things we need to know.

Q:

When describing yourself, you began by saying ‘first and foremost, I am a mother’... How have you been able to balance content creation and motherhood?

A: To be honest, it was extremely difficult at the outset to balance the two – especially since I wanted to take time to bond with my son and teach him stuff.

But then I realised that I needed to plan things thoroughly and work out a schedule, which would help me balance the two.
