KEA marks the successful completion of “Kandyedufair 2012”
Kandy Education Association (KEA) successfully completes the Kandyedufair 2012, Hill Capital’s premier Education & Career Expo. Event was held on 13th& 14th of January at the Queen’s Hotel, Kandy.
Hon. Tikirikobbekaduwa, Governor of the Central Province wasthe chief guest of the opening ceremony and distinguished guests representing various sectors graced the occasion.
A large number of stall holders from the higher education sector took part in the Kandyedufair 2012 while Edexcel International & E-W Information Systems joined as the main sponsors. It was a great opportunity for the parents and students in the region as they were able to meet the representatives of almost all the leading higher education and related service providers in Sri Lanka.
Thousands of students from various parts of the Island witnessed the event. KEA had organized the exhibition at the correct and best time in the year since the students those who completed their OLS in last December and those who have just received their AL results could explore the opportunities available locally and internationally to gain the desired qualification for a fruitful future.

It’s formed as a collaborative association among the seven leading higher education institutions inthe hill capital, namely ACBT, American College of Higher Education, BCAS Kandy Campus, ESOFT, ICBT Kandy Campus,idm and SLIIT Kandy Centre.there will be lot of activities organized by the KEA for the betterment of the higher education in the region. Kandy Edufair will be continued as an annual event after experiencing the huge success in the very first time andit will be held in every January in Kandy. Also the discussions underway to expand the exhibition to the Eastern part of the country in September.
