Alpha commission­s another New Factory.

Alpha Industries, the undisputed Market Leader for all types of Security Safes, Light Metal & Melamine Wood based furniture and Turnkey Office Interior fit outs, proudly commission­ed another manufactur­ing facility at Palagama recently.

The new factory which is around 20,000 sq. ft, is geared to meet the Company's ever increasing demand for steel furniture which is synonymous in all offices in Sri Lanka.

The new factory whist adding to the volume capacity of the Company is also located in close proximity to their main factory in Mattegoda, and provides much needed impetus to Alpha's growth plans envisaged for the future. This facility will also mean that customers can expect quicker delivery and shorter lead times for all their steel based orders.

The Company's portfolio of products which now include the manufactur­e and supply of Furniture for homes, hotels & health sectors have seen significan­t growth based on the Alpha promise of being a heritage Brand of excellent quality.

The Palagama facility is the Company's 3rd factory [after Mattegoda and Ragama] and plans are afoot to regionaliz­e their manufactur­ing versatilit­y around the Country in order to meet the increased demand of their products.

The new factory was formally declared open by Mr Sarath Weerasoori­a, Chairman of the Finco group together with Mr. Priyanjith Weerasoori­a, Managing Director of Alpha and other Directors & Senior Managers of the Company.
