Cardiff Metropolitan University MBA at ICBT Campus is the only MBA offered in Sri Lanka as an Internal MBA with same University syllabus. The MBA which is for one and half years (3 Semesters + dissertation) part time basis programme. Each semester duration spans in 4 month prior to the University examination and assessments.
The special aspect in the MBA is it gives the student the opportunity of specializing in ones own field of work during the final semester of the programme (Specialization Areas: Project Manag e m e n t , Information Management, etc.) lectures are Only on Sundays from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 pm. Or 3 weekday evenings from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Cardiff MET(UWIC) MBA at ICBT Campus is designed for students to gain a qualification from a high ranking university. Special considerations to costs have been given and MBA can be completed for approximately LKR, 530,000 which can be paid in installments. University call applications twice per year. Applications are evaluated locally and sent to UK. University supports students in providing course materials, Lecture CD’S, Sample papers, web support etc... Cardiff Met (UWIC MBA) lecturers are qualified lecturer panel approved by the respective university according to there academic and industry professionalism.
