Modern Montessori Internatio­nal London ( MMI) representa­tive Denise Navdeep Kaur will be in the country as part of a regular visit to the island as Quality Manager of the institute. Her visit involves conducting workshops that educate existing and interested parents on parenting and modern Montessori programme benefits. Kaur is affiliated with MMI Singapore, and has managed a number of childcare centres. Her academic qualificat­ions include a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education with Wheelock College,boston and a Diploma in Montessori Method of Teaching from the MMI Academy, Singapore.

Apart from making sure that the centres ran smoothly, she was also involved extensivel­y both locally and internatio­nally ( Sri Lanka, India, Hongkong, Thailand and Indonesia) in the training of staff in core areas of Montessori educa t ion . Denise gradually ventured into lecturing at MMI Academy, where she is responsibl­e for teaching programmes such as the Diploma in the Montessori Method of Teaching, Diploma inearly Childhood Care and Education, Certificat­e in Early Childhood Care and Education as well as the Bachelors (HONS) in Early Childhood Studies ( Middlesex University, U. K). She also holds a position of a Chief-liaison Officer with MMI Singapore and Middlesex University, U.K.
