Minuri, who was able to undertake an internship with Unilever Sri Lanka as part of the University’s Global Leadership Program, says Macquarie’s focus on building career and leadership skills gave her an invaluable edge when it came time to find a job.

“Macquarie not only provided me with the right academic and industry knowledge to enter the workforce, it also provided me with some great employability skills,” Minuri says.

“It also provided a safe and secure environment for me to study, with its on- campus accommodation options. It put my parents at ease about sending me to abroad all by myself.” CRICOS Provider Code 00002J More information about Macquarie University can be found at www.international.mq.edu.au or by emailing the University’s local representative anjali. malik@ mq. edu.au
