DSL turns out to be eco friendly

Douglas & Sons Ltd (DSL), Sri Lanka's leading importer of premier Japanese brands of motor spare parts, tyres and batteries have added two new products to their range. DSL introduced the cost effective GT Radial Champiro Eco and the latest NGK spark plugs. Both products assure of providing its customers the value for money.
Apparently GT Radial Champiro Eco is Sri Lanka's first ever green tyre,and it has gained popularity across the island within a short period of time. Speaking on their products Saroj Perera, the Chairman and MD of DSL emphasised: "DSL is an enterprise that delivers quality and value for money. GT Radial Champiro Eco, an award winning product from Indonesia, was launched here in 2010. The product was awarded by the Indonesian Record Body or the MURI as the first eco friendly tyre manufactured there."
DSL'S launch of the GT Radial Champiro Eco has two objectives - to offer more fuel efficient tyre to the market and to help reduce the carbon emission intern contributes in order to help reduce global warming.
Further elaborating on their latest products, Hashan Haputhanthri, the General Manager, Marketing of DSL stressed that it is time to discover the value of these new eco friendly products.
"The recent duel price hike created an imbalance in day-today life of the Sri Lankans. As pioneers and market leaders in auto spares, we at DSL thought this was the perfect time to offer Sri Lankans with timely solutions. Since the launch of GT Radial Champiro Eco tyres, our sales force has penetrated the local tyre market and there are more demands for this product. Our latest additions, the GT Radial Champiro Eco and NGK spark plugs can help all the local motor users to enjoy the benefits of reduced fuel wastage," Haputhanthri said.
NGK of Japan produces a range of spark plugs and is the global market leader. NGK introduced its latest of products, the G- Power Platinum which is designed to deliver power, performance and quality at an affordable price. The centre electrode of the new GPower spark plug is made out of platinum. A special metal which has the ability of creating an evenly spread flame while the ground electrode of G- Power is made of standard metal.
