-

Presented by TMC in association with CMI On Tuesday 20th March 2012 from 5: 00 p. m. to 7: 00 p. m. at the Park Street Mews, Colombo 2.

In these turbulent times when the very foundations of organizations and societies are being shaken, the fundamental enduring truths that hold constant regardless of context or circumstance, necessary to reinvigorate organizations and communities, must be deeply understood by those who aspire to be future leaders.

This second session, in the series, “An Evening For Future Leaders”, by The Management Club (TMC) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) SL Branch introduces D r. A.C. Visvalingam, a Leader who has dedicated his time and energy over the last decade in raising the sensitivity of discerning members of society to issues that are as diverse as “Garbage Disposal” and “Sound Pollution” to more weighty topics such as “Presidential Leadership” and “Educat i n g C h i l d ren f or Responsible Citizenship”.

Dr A. C. Visvalingam is the current P re s i d e n t of t he CITIZENS’ M OV E M E N T FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE (CIMOGG).

He has been an Engineering Consultant ( 1974- 2005), President of the Society of Structural Engineers ( 1993200) and Member of the Public Service Commission (2003-2005).

TMC and CMI SL Branch hopes that the deliberations at this forum would focus attention of the need for respect for the Rule of the Law to work towards a society where all citizens can live in peace and harmony.

TMC and CMI is being supported by Peoples Bank and Park Street Mews in this latest knowledge sharing initiative which would provide the ideal forum for young managers of Sri Lanka, aspiring to be future leaders of the country. Also, Education Times of the Sunday Times are coming as print media sponsors. Prior reservations for this event
