Queen Mary, University of London is one of the UK’S leading research-focused higher education institutions. Queen Mary offers outstanding students a stimulating, supportive and high- quality learning experience, with teaching inspired by its worldleading research. QM has also invested more than £250m in new facilities over the last fifteen years to offer students an exceptional learning environment.
The 2011 National Student Survey (which asks students about their experiences at university) places Queen Mary equal first in London (among the major universities). The innovative flexible modular degrees give students the freedom to choose modules and to determine the direction of their studies. Students also benefit from the personal contact with teaching staff they receive through small group teaching and tutorials, where discussion and feedback is actively encouraged.
