SONALI FERNANDO - 'BEAUTY PRODUCTS FREE OF CHEMICALS'

-

It was quite by accident that Sonali Fernando, discovered a product that was to create a huge impact in the beauty industry. Sonali used to colour her hair regularly, as she had quite a bit of grey hair, from a very early age, and she always ended up with a head ache after the use of any brand of colour used. She was aware that the people who could get down vegetable dyes from abroad would do so, but in Sri Lanka, there was nothing available for someone who had the requirement to use chemical free hair products, and had no way of getting it down from Europe or the US. This made her realize that she had to do something about it. When she was researching on availability of products, she found out that Rolland, Italy, had a range of colours and treatments, which was ideal for the purpose.

The majority of Rolland's products contain, Natural Ingredients, often, certified organic ingredients, and is based on a natural, delicate, healthy and ammonia - free philosophy. These products are allergy and odour free and are ecologically friendly, catering to those who work in the World of beauty and wellness, and the valuable clients who are health conscious.

Rolland has been producing innovative, high- performance cosmetics for hair salons, beauty institutes and cosmetic shops for over fifty years. Rolland was among the first in Italy, to try out production plants for hair sprays. Starting in the ' 50s, the suc- cess of the new experience inspired the idea, to begin producing salon products. Subsequently, on the strength of the experience it had acquired, it organized its business by creating parallel facilities to study and produce professional lines dedicated to beauty and makeup. Careful selection of the very best raw materials, is the starting point in a production process that aims to create products with the highest quality standards that are rigorously controlled.

'O Way H colour' the natural hair colour, styling and finishing products containing organic and botanical extracts, and is a hundred per cent organic product, from Rolland, Italy. This is a permanent oxidation formula, without ammonia, and is marketed as a scented cream in 100 ml containers, in 89 different colours. This ammonia replacing monocular, stays and acts on the surface of the cuticle causing less damage to the cortex. Thanks to this substance, and to H colour formula, which was designed in the Rolland laboratories, it is able to guarantee the best possible performance as far as the hair fiber is concerned. Exclusive high quality micro pigments guarantee stable, long lasting results, and it also includes, vibrant shades. This H colour contains organic perilla oil, extremely rich in omega three and flavonoids, boosting anti- oxidant and anti-allergy properties. In order to leave the hair soft and extra ordinary healthy, the mix has been enriched with the precious cotton proteins, for nourishing the very depth of the hair shaft.

This is one of the best hair colour products' in the market at the moment. The main advantage of it is, that it is ammonia free. Besides adults with grey hair, lots of kids nowadays have grey hair due to chlorine, asthma and catarrh, hence requiring hair colour very early in life. As this product is chemical free, it does not have negative side effects, and can be used freely on children. Even pregnant women, who can't use other products due to the chemical content, can use this, as it doesn't have ammonia. O Way H, has the extracts from plants which is equivalent to PPD, yet, this is not the chemical PPD. As people could still be allergic to even plant extracts, the company has launched a new line which is called 'Wiz Out'. This is the opposite of the O way.

It has no PPD but has 1.5 % Ammonia. Both options are available to satisfy the clients. If someone is allergic to ammonia, O Way H, from Rolland is the product to use, and if someone is allergic to PPD, there is Wiz Out. There is also, the straightening cream and bleaching powder which is again Ammonia free. These products are only for Salon use, and strictly not for home use.
