All visitors to the exhibition spoke of the exhibition approvingly as they were able to get first hand, reliable and factual information.

The exhibition was held for three days, 13th at Queens Hotel Kandy and 17th & 18th at Galadari Hotel Colombo. The exhibition was organized by International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd (ISES), Sri Lanka in association with Winning Magnitude Sdn. Bhd Malaysia. With a view to help those students who are seeking to pursue their higher education in Malaysia International Scholar has been organizing the Malaysian Education Exhibition for 6 years consecutively. And this recently concluded exhibition was a tremendous success and is the 10th in the chain of annual and or bi annual exhibitions conducted by ISES with their Malaysian partner, Winning Magnitude Sdn Bhd.

CEO of ISES, Keerthi Jayasuriya stated that the event opens new avenues for those students who are seeking to reach their higher educational goals. He added that Malaysia would be a very good alternative for these students when all factors of studying overseas such as the cost, culture, weather and the flexibility in choosing majors are considered. He further stated the cost of studying in countries like United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and USA would be more than double the cost of studying in Malaysia. Students can obtain degrees from world renowned universities studying in their (university’s) own branch campuses in Malaysia. Another advantage of studying in Malaysia to be factored in is the close proximity and the ease of travel between Malaysia and Sri Lanka. A student who applied for a place at a reputed university at the exhibition told us “I was able to get admission to a good university at the event and as I have got 2A’s and 1B for my A/L, also I was able to get a scholarship worth 35% of the tuition fee. I feel this is the best place to get firsthand information on higher education overseas and every student thinking of overseas higher education must attend this event”. With similar expressions of satisfaction uttered by many students it can confidently be stated that the objectives of the exhibitions were achieved.

ISES is the pioneer in promoting Malaysian education in Sri Lanka. Over a period of 12 years ISES has advised thousands of students who were seeking to pursue their higher studies overseas to successfully choose suitable study destinations. To make this service more beneficial to those students who are looking to study in Malaysian institutes, Malaysian Centre was established in the year of 2011 as a joint operation between ISES and Winning Magnitude Malaysia. In addition to providing its customary superior services locally, by helping students to obtain scholarships, fee waivers and many more benefits with expert counseling skills now the Malaysian Center can help students and parents if assistance is required within Malaysia. Last but not least all services provided by the Malaysian centre @ International Scholar are free.
