Abans Finance adds two more customer centres in Moratuwa and Piliyandal­a

Abans Finance added two more customer centres during February 2012 to its network of customer centres making the total number, five as at end of February 2012. The two new centres have been opened at Abans Showrooms in Moratuwa and Piliyandal­a. In January 2012, the company opened its first two customer centres that were located within Abans Showrooms. This is an achievemen­t for the company. These Customer Centres are expected to deliver enhanced volumes of business in Finance Leasing and Hire Purchase for the company.

The location of the centres within Abans showrooms is a new con- cept developed by the company in associatio­n with its Holding company. This unique feature will assist Abans Finance to share common facilities and invite prospectiv­e customers of its holding company who visit the showrooms. The two units that were opened in the month of January in Ja- Ela and Kiribathgo­da have shown promising results that would contribute towards the build-up of the company’s lending portfolio, gradually.

Abans Finance is expected to enhance its customer centre network in a well co-ordinated manner that will ultimately bring about positive results for the com- pany in its operations.

Abans Finance currently operates with nine fully fledged branches and five customer centres. The company’s Total Assets and Public Deposits stood at Rs. 2,500 Mn and Rs. 1400 Mn as at end of February 2012. It has maintained a steady growth in its operations during the on- going financial year, 2011-12.

The fully fledged branches the company operates are in Anu r a d h ap u r a , B a d u l l a , Chunnakam, Dambulla, Galle, Gampaha, Kandy, Kurunegala and Ratnapura. The four new custom- er centres that were introduced recently were within Abans Showrooms in Kiribathgo­da, Ja- ela, Moratuwa and P i l i yandala. The Customer Centre in Kandy continues to operate from a separate location.

Abans Finance, a Finance company licensed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in terms of Finance Business Act No. 42 of 2011 is Listed with the “Dirisavi Board” of the Colombo Stock Exchange.
