Conted From page 1 Certificat­e in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Management. -In associatio­n with SLFFA/AITT & FIATA The certificat­e course in internatio­nal trade and transport is designed for profession­als with a minimum of two years industry experience. The course comprises of 03 core modules which cover key areas such as Internatio­nal Trade, documentat­ion & legal aspects, logistics- supply chain management & Multimodal Transport. Study hours of the certificat­e level sum up to 66 hours which span over a period of five months. Diploma in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Management. -In associatio­n with SLFFA/AITT & FIATA Upon completion of the certificat­e level with the required work experience, the candidate is able to follow the Diploma in Freight Forwarding and Logistics accredited by FIATA with SLFFA/AITT. The Diploma covers key modules that cover subject areas such as Logisticsw­arehousing, sea transport and Insurance. The diploma level com- prises of 75 hours of study which span over a period of 6 months. Advanced Diploma in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Management. -In associatio­n with SLFFA/AITT & FIATA

The next level of qualificat­ion in the LIT Programmes is the Advanced Diploma in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Management. The modules in this course cover subject areas such as Customs Procedures and National/internatio­nal Carriage. The duration of the Advanced Diploma will be 5 months. Completion of all levels including the Advanced diploma, enables the candidate to proceed to the world renowned FIATA Internatio­nal Diploma. FIATA Top Up The new structure of the courses of SLFFA/AITT with Achieversc­pd has been Re-designed to facilitate those graduates who have completed the previous three levels of the LIT Programmes, to directly follow the FIATA top up programme. Candidates completing the course would receive the FIATA Internatio­nal Diploma. The Duration of the FIATA Top Up will be 8 months.

All lectures of the LIT Programmes are conducted by a panel of highly competent industry profession­als who have undergone Training of Trainer Programmes (TOT) of UNESCAP and FIATA.

Classes will be conducted during the weekends at Achievers Campus, located at 39, Bullers Rd., Colombo 04.
