Diiukshan outstanding
Dilukshan Karunatileke, commenced his college career at St Thomas’s preparatory school in kollupitiya. Whilst at college he excelled at his studies and was awarded subjects as well as the class prize every year. After his ordinary level examination at college he was awarded a full scholarship to the British school in Colombo to move on with his London A ‘levels. He passed out with brilliant results of 4 A’s on mathematics. On his academic performance he was awarded a scholarship to Monash University Malaysia where he perused his degree on electrical and computer systems. After a matter of one year of study he was privileged to acquire a place on the Dean’s list in the engineering fac- ulty of the university. After a four year extensive education at Monash university he graduated in February 2012 with a Bachelor of science 1st class (honors) degree in electrical and computer systems and hopes to continue his academic future commencing on a PHD degree for the next 3 years based on a scholarship which was awarded to him for his exceptional motivation, talent and further for the academic potential and passion he revealed.
Dilukshan is the younger son of late Mr. Ajith Karunatileke and Mrs. Arlene Karunatileke of Boralesgamuwa , and the younger brother of Dulanjana Karunatileke. Bsc (honors) electrical and electronics, National university of Singapore.
