Dankotuwa Porcelain, in a bid to promote good table arrangements and good table etiquette in Sri Lanka, recently hosted the 'Table Top Show' literally showing off its latest culinary sets at a gala event.

Designed with function in mind, each product showed a perfect fit, finish and counterbalance while offering a variety of display options. Dankotuwa has been designing, manufacturing and distributing a variety of unique food- service displayware serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and other special events, according to officials. An enticing presentation which was a feast for the eyes and whetting the appetite was admired by Colombo's who's who in attendance.

Dankotuwa also displayed many of the other designs as well as designs conforming to their latest campaign "A day with Dankotuwa". This campaign encourages the use of bright coloured Dankotuwa mugs for their morning tea or coffee, colourful designs for breakfast, simple casual designs for mid-morning tea, subtle designs for lunch and richer designs for dinner, followed by richer designs for after dinner coffee.

Dankotuwa also demonstrated its high quality features such as its high whiteness, high translucency, high strength, high scratch resistance, high chip resistance, high thermal shock resistance etc. The event also included "Design your Own Mug" corner where several people tried their hand and decorating a mug. Several draws were also held where the attendees received prizes of Dankotuwa products and a competition for the best table arrangements was held.

The invitees were taken up with the beautiful arrangements with many requests to visit the factory to see how this world- class porcelain is being made.
