Associatio­n Sri Lankaise des Anciens Etudiants en France

ASLAEF - Associatio­n Sri Lankaise des Anciens Etudiants en France - is an associatio­n open to any person over eighteen years of age who has studied in France for a continuous period of not less than two months or a French government scholarshi­p holder.

The aims and objectives of the Associatio­n are:

- To promote the friendship, fellowship and understand­ing between the two countries through cultural, social, scientific and various other programmes;

- To facilitate the developmen­t of a cultural exchange and dialogue between the two countries;

- To associate with similar institutio­ns in promoting French language and culture in Sri Lanka;

- To provide a forum where persons who have studied in France can interact with French nationals living in Sri Lanka.

ASLAEF works in collaborat­ion with the other francophon­e associatio­ns and the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in order to achieve the above objectives.

All persons having the necessary qualificat­ions for admission and who are interested in promoting the aims and objectives of ASLAEF are welcome to join the associatio­n.
