Abans Manager Convention

From the 18th to the 22nd of June 2012, Abans Ltd held its 15th Annual Manager Convention. This year, the convention was held in Harbarana, with the Cinnamon Lodge and Chaaya Village hotel playing host to the event and its guests.

The Abans Group hold a Managers Convention each year in an effort to share all their remarkable achievements and to celebrate the fact that their products have found their way into thousands of Sri Lankan homes. On June 19th and 20th, the Abans Board of Directors and the 500 managers in attendance of the event were thrilled to welcome guests from their most trusted

brand partners.

Their addresses were followed by the presentation of awards to managers and branches of the Abans Group that had reached exceptional heights and achieved their goals. The awards included Best Inventory Management, Most Profitable Showroom, Highest Products Sales, Best Maintained Showroom, Supervision Awards and several others. Some winners managed to sweep across all categories and pick up several awards.

The awards ceremonies were also peppered with dance performances and motivational videos about hard work, perseverance and partnership. Mr. Behman Pestonjee closed the convention by thanking all the managers for all their efforts during the last year and urged them to reach for even higher goals in 2012.
