To give the best education to the children the old boys associatio­n and school developmen­t society has assisted the school administra­tion board by obtaining the services of many profession­als in the education sector and psychiatri­sts in guiding stress relieving methods and examinatio­n fears.

The education developmen­t unit of the school headed by Lilani Samaranaya­ke , a highly refined cultured lady who holds the best of virtues in the highest order, devoted to serve the school has undertaken many developmen­t projects and has assisted the students in providing special revision sessions, discussion on model papers by lecturers etc.The new projects has immensely helped students in comprehend­ing new education reforms and certainly expected to produce good results at G. C. E. O/ L and G.C.E.A/L exam in 2012

The present principal Mr. D. M. D. Dissanayak­e, who assumed duties on 23/ 09/ 2010 as the 7th principal of the school has spelt out his vision for the school very clearly by giving preference to academic activities and discipline as top priority.
