“MMI Preschoolers are highly sought after by formal schools in Singapore due to their high standards,” says Dr. T. Chandroo, Chairman of MMI Singapore at the MMI Annual Graduation Concert. Having been the Chief Guest of the concert, he thereafter expressed his excitement and appreciation towards the progress of the school. He announced with great joy about the program carried out by the staff and faculty of the school reaching the benchmarks set initially by MMI UK and Singapore. He said that the program run in Colombo was identical to those run in other countries. Found in 1989 in Singapore, MMI has developed into a global based private education organization with over 100 offices, preschools and training offices in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, the U.A.E, Egypt, Kenya, Australia, New Zealand and Nigeria with the Principal office based in the UK. The play was based on the all time favourite fairy tale ‘the adventures of Hansel and Gretel’ produced by Kadija- a teacher at MMI Sri Lanka. The very successful, house full event was staged on the 3rd of August at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute with the presence of the Chairman of the MMI Sri Lanka, Mr Jagath Alwis, Chairman MMI Singapore, Dr T Chandroo, Dr Upali Mampitiya, Mrs. Aruni Mahipala, General Manger and Mrs. Mutiara Hoole, Principal.

The play was followed by the Graduation Ceremony of twenty students of MMI walking on stage with their Graduation hats and cloak as a symbol of having passed their preschool education, and all ready to step into the next stage. Most of these students have already been accepted into high profile schools both local and international such as St. Thomas’ College, Royal College, Visakha, Bridget’s, C.I.S, Wycherley, and Lyceum, etc.
