CA Sri Lanka Business School’s MBA graduates can now enjoy membership at two prestigiou­s Australian bodies

Sri Lankan profession­als who are graduates of the University of Southern Queensland MBA programme offered at the Business School of the Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) now have the rare opportunit­y of enjoying the membership of two prestigiou­s Australian bodies.

The University of Southern Queensland ( USQ) recently received accreditat­ion from two top Australian industry associatio­ns, namely the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI), giving USQ graduates who have specialise­d in project management and human resources management subjects the opportunit­y to obtain membership at these two top organisati­ons.

The USQ MBA is ranked as one of Australia’s top 20 MBA programmes, and has been received tremendous response ever since it was introduced to the county over ten years ago, with top profession­al from both the accounting and nonaccount­ing fields following the programme.

With the membership of the Pro jec t Management Institute and the Australian Human Resource Institute, graduates are entitled to use the specific institute letters next to their qualif i c at i o n . Fo r example a member of AHRI could use the initials MAHRI.

Meanwh i l e, Mr. P r i ya n t h a Punchihewa General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of MIT Cargo (Pvt) Ltd, sharing his experience having followed the USQ MBA offered at the CA Sri Lanka Business School, said, “the USQ distance learning MBA was an achievemen­t for me at the correct time in my profession­al carrier which made a huge difference to the management style from a specific area of exposure to a vast generic different segments of expertise. It also helped me to be a part of a very strong networking unit with all top profession­als.”
