Gospel songs from Lankika

A New CD ‘Adara Yesuni’ comprising sixteen original Gospel songs by Lankika Perera of Golden Chimes will be released on 30th September, her Birthday to commemorate 40 years in the field of music. This launching ceremony will be held at the Holy Emman Emmanuel Parish Hall in M Moratuwa at 10.00 am on S Sunday.

Most of the songs are p penned and composed by L Lankika and Chanaka Pe Perera of the Golden Ch Chimes, Rev. Lakpriya de Sil Silva and Lucky Deva.

H Her two little granddau daughters namely, Liana and Ch Chameena Perera, husband Ch Chanaka, two sons, Chamine and Chamila have also joined with her in singing the songs.

T The first copy of the CD will be presented to Rev. Lakp Lakpriya de Silva.

L Lankika has been in the musi music field since 1971 and she has r released two gospel CDs ‘ Yesu Yesusge Geetha’ and ‘ Yesus men M Mithurek’ few years ago.

She thanked and praised God for all the blessings received for the past 41 years in the field of music. She is a Sunday School teacher at the Holy Emmanuel Sunday School since 1979.

Nuwan and Collin Collin, a popular singing duo of trendy ‘ Gemba’ fame has released their latest hit single ‘Kammeliya’ under ‘m entertainment’ label.

‘Kammeliya’ is their very first 3D animated video and its lyrics and music arrangements were done by Nuwan and Collin.

Their ‘ Gemba’ video has won two Derana Music Awards this year for ‘ Best Experimental Video’ and Best ‘Conceptualize Video’.

‘ We hope our latest ‘Kammeliya’ will also hit the Lankan music scene as it too has a novel theme’ Nuwan said.‘ Kammeliya’ is now available at MEntertainment outlets and all leading music stores island wide.
