Sampath Bank is the official banker of the Colombo International Book Fair 2012 for the ninth consequent year. This Book Fair will be held at BMICH from the 18th to 26th September, 2012. This is highly recognized and much awaited event in the local calendar and will be patronized by millions of both local and foreign book lovers. This Book Fair is a catalyst in instilling the reading habit among the masses.

Commenting on the facilities offered Deputy General Manager - Marketing and Business Development, Tharaka Ranwala said that the prime objective is to encourage the reading habit among the children as well as the young and the old as a socially responsible corporate citizen. "The Colombo International Book Fair is an event most looked forward to by the masses in Sri Lanka and is the ideal place for this," he added.
