Flexiprint awarded the ISO 220002005 by SGS Switzerland

Silent and steady, as the most important catalyst to the tea bag trade in Sri Lanka and the worldwide tea bagging industry, Flexiprint has come a long way to be the leader in the tea bag-tag, Envelope and the Pyramid mesh and tag industry.

Capping all the quality excellence achievements in the trade, Flexiprint has now achieved yet another milestone by being awarded the ISO 22000: 2005 by SGS Switzerland on July 29, 2012.

When spoke to him, Mr. Sathis Abeywickrama had expressed his view that he believes in buying the best and producing the best in the tea-bag tag and envelope industry together with the Pyramid mesh and tag trade while offering the best service in that sector.

He also said with conviction that he had employed the cream of the industry which has undoubtedly made Flexiprint the market leader in the field. Today, Flexiprint services 58% of the national demand for tea bags, envelopes and pyramid and mesh tags.

Flexiprint has also widened the horizon of the industry by supplying tea-bag tags, envelopes and pyramid mesh and tags to the international market. Its 'portfolio of customers world-wide now includes export to Australia, Bangladesh, Dubai, Egypt, France, India, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua-New Guinea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK and Yemen.

When asked about his vision for the future of the company, he said that it was to be the most innovative in the field while being the best in the field world-wide; and also to be humble enough to service the largest tea bag producer and the smallest tea bag producer with the same high quality standards the industry demands.
