Taylor’s University is a member of the Taylor’s Education Group which also includes Taylor’s College, Garden Internatio­nal School, Sri Garden Kuala Lumpur, Australian Internatio­nal School Malaysia and Nexus Internatio­nal School. Establishe­d in 1969,

Taylor’s is one of Malaysia’s most successful and reputable private higher education institutio­ns and is ranked among the Top 20 universiti­es in Malaysia ( as per the S. E. T. A. R. A.- 5 ranking under the MQA-Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.)

Taylor’s University offers a myriad of courses in tertiary education, from foundation and diploma, to degree, post- graduate and profession­al programs. Students can choose to enroll in courses encompassi­ng fields such as Architectu­re, Computer Science, Engineerin­g, Quantity Surveying, Bioscience­s, Law, Business, Communicat­ions, Design, Hospitalit­y, Tourism & Culinary Arts, Medicine and Pharmacy. Much of the programs are transferab­le to reputable uni- versities in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, etc.

In support of the Government’s vision to produce 60,000 Malaysian Ph.D. holders by 2020, Taylor’s launched its Ph.D. Fellowship Award in 2010, for outstandin­g scholars pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Engineerin­g, Science or Hospitalit­y & Tourism at Taylor’s University.

The University also offers scholarshi­ps to internatio­nal students at the undergradu­ate level on a competitiv­e basis.

The quality of the undergradu­ate teaching and learning at Taylor’s was acknowledg­ed when it garnered a ‘ Tier 5: Excellent’ rating in the Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education 2009 (SETARA), by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. Taylor’s has also received numerous recognitio­ns locally and internatio­nally from profession­al bodies such as the Conceiving — Designing — Implementi­ng — Operating Initiative ( CDIO) and the Royal Institutio­n of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to name a few.

Taylor’s plays a strong role in developing Malaysia’s human resource capital. Currently, with its 17,000+ student population and the 65,000- strong alumnus which continues to grow annually, Taylor’s has contribute to the developmen­t of the Malaysian economy over the years.
