‘Sing-along Festival’ at STC

‘Sing-along Festival’ of Golden Oldies (English/Sinhala) will come alive with Lankika and the Golden Chimes on Saturday, 6th October at the S. Thomas’ College, Hall commencing 6.30 p.m.

This ‘Sing-along Festival’ is organised by the Staff Club of S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia in aid of their staff foundation.

The President of the Staff Club S.T.C. Mt .Lavinia, Dayan Cooray said that this project is organized to raise funds to support and look after the welfare of their academic and non academic staff members.

‘Apart from the benefits for the staff, our main goal is to carry out a CSR Project as a responsibl­e Club of the College in addition to the welfare commitment’ he said.

Every participan­t becomes the recipient of a free Song Book completed with lyrics of around 60 songs of oldies from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and Sinhala favourites.

Music for the show will be provided by Lankika and the Golden Chimes with their remarkable repertoire.

There will be a special musical spot by an Old Thomian Priya Peiris of La Bambas (Cock-a-doodle-do fame).

Tickets priced at Rs.750/-. and are available at the College Sports Complex.
