Novita Aircare – classic purification mode provides a milder approach to air purification

-

Indoor air is often an invisible cloud of particulate matter, microorganisms, volatile organic compounds, dust, lint, and even pollen and animal dander brought in from outdoor. Traces of chemicals, gases, smoke and other unpleasant odour can also be present. Surfaces can become contaminated with fallen particulate matter and germs that can then be picked up and transferred on our skin and into our body or to others.

In other words, allergens and germs can be everywhere, including in the air we breathe and on surfaces we come into contact on a daily basis. This explains the sharply rising rate of allergies and respiratory related illnesses which pose an adverse effect on our wellbeing. But breaking the chain of infections, NOVITA AirCare Pro Air Sterilizer NAS 6000 intercepts the transmission process preventing the spread of illnesses and diseases with superior air sterilization and surface sanitization to eliminate airborne and surface-bound contaminants effectively.NAS 6000 is an ideal solution for hotels and guesthouses to clean up the air inside the rooms and public areas.

NOVITA AirCare Pro Air Sterilizer NAS 6000 is a combination of four technologies – 99 per cent HEPA Type Filtration, Advanced UV Nano Photo catalytic-oxidation, Mica Corona Discharge, and Electron Spray Ionization into a single unit.

If you analyse the four combinations, the HEPA filters are composed of a mat of randomly arranged fibres composed of fiberglass and possess diameters between 0.5 and 2.0 micrometers. These filters are designed to arrest very fine particles effectively, but they do not filter out gasses and odor molecules. Circumstances requiring filtration of volatile organic compounds, chemical vapors, cigarette, pet, and/or flatulence odors call for the use of an activated carbon (charcoal) filter instead of or in addition to a HEPA filter.

Photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) is achieved when you combine UV light rays with a TiO2 coated filter. TiO2 refers to Titanium Oxide. This process creates hydroxyl radicals and super-oxide ions, which are highly reactive electrons. These highly reactive electrons aggressively combine with other elements in the air, such as bacteria and VOCs. VOC is an acronym for Volatile Organic Compounds, which include harmful pollutants such as formaldehyde, ammonia and many other common contaminates released by building materials and household cleaners generally found in the home.Once bound together, the chemical reaction takes place between the supercharged ion and the pollutant, effectively “oxidizing” (or burning) the pollutant. This breaks the pollutant down into harmless carbon dioxide and water molecules, making the air more purified.

Electrospray ionization (ESI) is a technique used in mass spectrometry to produce ions. It is especially useful in producing ions from macromolecules because it overcomes the propensity of these molecules to fragment when ionized. Additionally and arguably more importantly, ESI is advantageous over other atmospheric pressure ionisation processes since it may produce multiply charged ions, effectively extending the mass range of the analyser to accommodate the KDa-MDa orders of magnitude observed in proteins and their associated polypeptide fragments.

All-in-all the NOVITA AirCare Pro Air Sterilizer NAS 6000 has three convenient pre-set modes for ease of use.

The classic purification mode provides a milder approach to air purification with high efficient filters and negative ions.

The flexible purification mode is equipped with adjustable air purification levels, and regulates the ozone generation automatically to suite the coverage area selected.

The intense sterilization and sanitation mode is meant for the use in unoccupied rooms and spaces, and is powered with the highest ozone concentration.
