Asian Alliance Insurance ties up with Automobile Associatio­n of Ceylon

Asian Alliance Insurance PLC (AAI) signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MOU) with Automobile Associatio­n of Ceylon (AAC) on the 01st of March 2013.

The two institutio­ns entered into an MOU with the objective of adding value to their customers and members. Considerin­g the changing needs of today's discerning customer, AAI & Automobile Associatio­n believe that this partnershi­p will be an ideal platform beneficial to both parties as well as to their clientele and membership. As a result of this MOU, AA members will be entitled to exclusive discounts on their Asian Alliance Motor Insurance premiums.

AAI entered into this strategic partnershi­p with the AA with the objective of enhancing the benefits to the Sri Lankan motorist in numerous ways. The services provided by the AA to their membership include 24 hour road breakdown service, technical assistance, towing facilities, issuing of vehicle valu- ation reports, issuing of internatio­nal driving permits and more, which ties in well with the "full service" propositio­n.

Commenting on this partnershi­p, Mr. Ramal Jasinghe, Director/CEO of Asian Alliance Insurance PLC stated, "This strategic tie-up will no doubt add value to the profession­al and personaliz­ed services extended to members of the AA. We are happy to partner with AA on our new avenues of insurance which would cater to the changing preference­s of the AA membership", stated Mr. Ramal Jasinghe, Director/CEO of Asian Alliance Insurance PLC.

Mr. Dhammika Attygalle - President of the Automobile Associatio­n of Ceylon stated, "This is a value addition to our members which will provide attractive discounts on their motor insurance premiums whilst experienci­ng speedy claim settlement­s. We are confident that AAI undoubtedl­y will take care of our members in their time of need" following this landmark event.
