Akzo Nobel Paints demonstrate high tech capabilities
Akzo Nobel Paints Lanka stalls attracted a lot of interest and many a crowd at the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects Members' Work and Trade Exhibition 2013 held recently. The company ran two high tech stalls at the exhibition held at the Sirimavo Bandaranayake Convention Center.
The stalls highlighted the theme 'Tomorrow's answers today' by using advanced and latest technology to demonstrate Dulux products and capability of Akzo Nobel.
The main product featured was 'Dulux Once' designed for today's consumer. "It is a high quality no nonsense interior emulsion that promises to deliver best value for the money you pay," is how a company spokesman described the product. "It achieves this by reducing the number of coats needed to cover the walls and thereby directly reduces the cost of the paint applied. Dulux Once has a highly concentrated formula that will not only cover your walls in a single coat but will also spread over a greater area per liter to give you a high quality finish at a fraction of the cost and save you time as well."
In addition to decorative products, Akzo Nobel- the largest coating company in the world demonstrated products which are being used in important venues around the world.
This year's' theme being "New technology bringing to life was clearly demonstrated through the Virtual Assistant. It gave informa- tion about Akzo Nobel Worldwide and its philosophy and key projects, sustainability initiatives, and the innovations introduced to the paint industry globally.
Akzo Nobel Worldwide Stall was equipped with a Multi Touch Interactive Table where at a given time 12 touch points can be used and thus several people can interact at the same time. . This interactive table highlighted 5 areas of Akzo Nobel. They were Corporate Sustainability, Technology, Formula 1partnership with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and Corporate social responsibility (Dulux Let's Colour Campaign and Child Trust Fund activities).
The Multi Touch Interactive Table demonstrated AkzoNobel as the world's leading coating company, the key roles played at Beijing, London and next Olympic Games in Rio as well as the 2014 Football World Cup in Brazil by providing world class paint products to protect these venues.
