Mark visits the British School

Mark Schroeder Associate Director of The University of Toledo ( www. utoledo. edu) Ohio USA speaks to a “standing room only” gathering of enthusiastic seniors of British School - one of the top international schools in Colombo preparing students for British exams. In his brief presentation he explained why US higher education is considered the world’s best, the vast choice of majors and the opportunity to study more than one discipline (at absolutely no extra cost), generous scholarships to the deserving and how the cost is affordable to many Lankan parents, how part-time work and paid internships prepares each student for global employment upon graduation.
