‘Aththamma’;

Following the teletele cast of ‘ Malee’, one of the longest dramas telecast on Derana TV, ‘ Malee- 2’ ‘Aththamma’ is now being released and shows on every weekday from Monday to Friday at 9 pm.

Screenplay is written by Sunanda de Silva, the teleplay is directed by Thilina Boralessa. Telecast as a mega t e l e p l a y, ‘Aththamma’ continues from the point where ‘Malee’ ended.

The story of the drama revolves around Malee’s daughter ‘Saradi’. Malee’s mother Dingiri decides that Saradi should not grow up under her parents, Malee and Nirmal due to a bad spell according to a mismatch in their horoscopes. She therefore gives Saradi to her best friend’s daughter Muthu to be brought up as her own daughter. ‘Aththamma’ shows how Saradi grows up to be a beautiful girl and the two young men who plan to take her hand and other social and political changes that take place in the village.
