Knowledge Conglomera­te to repeat programme on job interviews by Lasantha

The Knowledge Conglomera­te (TKC) has decided to repeat the executivee­ducation program on 'Conducting Job Interviews - To select the best-fit candidate', due to many requests from those who missed the initial programme and very positive feedback from the first program held last week. The programme will be directed by Lasantha Salgado and scheduled for Tuesday, 3rd June 2013, from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm at the Hotel Galadari.

The full capacity sold out of the first program and received very encouragin­g response from the participan­ts including Hayleys, Central Bank, DIMO, NDB Bank, Colombo Stock Exchange and Sri Lanka Insurance.

"Selecting the best candidate is very important for an organizati­on. It will demonstrat­e to you how to get prepare for an interview, how to improve your interviewi­ng skills and what criteria you should look for in a candidate in order to select the best" said Kapila Liyanage, Director of TKC.

The Course Director Lasantha Salgado, is a recipient of the Fellowship of the AHRP. He is one of Sri Lanka's most experience­d HR profession­als, having served as the Head of HR for Unilever, John, Keells, Hayleys and NDB Bank. He is also a practicing Attorney-at-Law in Industrial Relations.

TKC is a leading provider of executive education programs in Sri Lanka, in addition to pursing several knowledge based ventures. The programme on 'Sri Lankan Marketing & Advertisin­g dilemma' by Sandeetha Jayasinghe on 3rd of July 2013 and 'Social & Marketing - Make the Most out of Social Media Marketing' by Susmita Das Gupta on 5thAugust 2013 are also planned for respective days.
