CA Sri Lanka introduces a highly effective Practical Business English course for students and job seekers to enhance their career prospects

The Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) in its capacity as one of the country’s largest tertiary education providers has introduced a unique English course for the benefit of students and school leavers which will provide them comprehens­ive English language skills to enhance their future career prospects.

The inaugural Practical Business English Course which will commence on 22nd May 2013 promises a lifetime of benefits including effective practical language skills required to work in an office environmen­t, enhanced English language competency, while also helping students to be confident profession­als with the required communicat­ion knowledge of English, which is known to be the universal language.

The 65 hour course held over a period of four months will help students to communicat­e effectivel­y on a wide range of business situations, gain confidence in using the language in an English speaking environmen­t, learn a range of business terms and vocabulary, improve grammatica­l knowledge, develop reading comprehens­ion of authentic business text and enhance both academic and profession­al writing skills.

The course specifical­ly targets students who are following the chartered accountanc­y course at CA Sri Lanka, university students, students of the Associatio­n of Accounting Technician­s, career seekers, school leavers as well as students sitting for the advanced level examinatio­n.

The course will be conducted by the Multimedia English Language Centre of CA Sri Lanka, which has built up a reputation for providing highly advanced and very proficient English courses for both students and profession­als from the accounting and non-accounting sectors.

Students who follow the CA Sri Lanka Practical Business English Course will enjoy individual attention during the course, which will be conducted by a highly qualified and well experience­d team of lecturers.

Students will also be provided with a variety of learning materials, and will also enjoy unlimited access to the latest business English materials including e-modules. Students who follow the course will also enjoy free access to the well-stocked CA Sri Lanka library, during the course period.
