The R&B singer’s hit ‘B ‘Blurred Lines’ smashed its way to the top with sales of 190,000 copies making it the fastest selling song of 2 2013. ‘Blurred Lines’ is a combination of soul, hip h hop and pop all woven into one as it gives the 36 year his very first UK top 10 and debut No:1 as well. Thicke has been around for sometime tim coming very c close to the top 10 when the single ‘Lost Without U’ peaked at No: 11 in 2007. He is also b best known for penni ning songs for likes of Chris Christina Aguilera, Usher an and Mary J. Blige. ‘Blurred Lines’ is Thicke’s breakout hit as it features rapper T.I and vocalist Pharrell Williams. The latter was a featured artist on Daft Punk No:1 hit ‘Get Lucky’. Blurred Lines’ is the lead single from Thicke’s album of the same name.
