MTI Consulting extends assignment­s to Palestine

MTI Consulting and its associates in Palestine have been awarded a USAID/DAI project to carry out an economic feasibilit­y study for Sludge and the Stone Industry in Palestine, covering West Bank and Gaza.

MTI is executing this assignment in associatio­n with Expoworks plus, an associate of MTI in Palestine and IMM Carrara, an Italian firm well recognized in the internatio­nal stone industry will support the assignment with the necessary technical expertise, the compa- ny said. "This project would assess solutions to the sludge problem in the stone sector, in a staged approach, to support the transforma­tion of the industry. Finding solutions for dry sludge” that comes out of filter presses by creating new products is one way to help this industry grow economical­ly. This will contribute to the overall strategy of increasing investment­s, employment and creating competitiv­e new products and business opportunit­ies that could be targeted in local and internatio­nal markets, " said MTI's Palestine based Associate Suleiman Mashriqi of Expoworks.

MTI Consulting has worked on assignment­s across emerging markets in Asian, Middle East and African regions, which includes projects carried for multi-national and regional companies and agencies in Algeria, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordon, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippine­s and Syria.
