She further states that “there is a plethora of Colleges in the island, all of them advertising aggressively almost every day. It is sad that most parents are unaware of the pitfalls as all these places of study are not Internationally recognized nor do they necessarily impart a good education. But I am happy to be able to say that IIHE always had my unstinted support as it, not only gives an excellent education to its pupils but also awards a Degree which will be recognized and respected in any country in the English speaking world.

Mrs Goolbi Gunasekara says “I have sent many students to the IIHE from 1996 onwards which is the year in which the Institute was opened in Sri Lanka. The graduates of this University have found it very easy to find employment or to proceed to do a Masters degree in any part of the world as the Degrees at IIHE are awarded by the University of Wales, a recognized and respected British University of the UK.

They say education is for life. A student will go through the stages of education spanning a period of nearly 15 years. There is now a deep need within school leavers to earn a degree at a reputed University rewarding them with a qualification none can dispute. The right qualification given by a recognised institution is the first step for anyone who wants to have a solid future.

The Imperial Institute of Higher Education (IIHE), has been at the forefront of the higher education industry in Sri Lanka, providing internationally recognized degrees & MBAs from the University of Wales since 1996. The institution offers a range of degree programs under the Quality Assurance Authority (QAA) of Great Britain and the University of Wales, ensuring that the highest standards in education are maintained at IIHE. Learned lecture panel, renowned for their wealth of knowledge and experience, sharpens the skills of their students to produce world class professionals.

IIHE prides itself on offering students the best environment to learn in. The institute believes that a quality tertiary education is not only the curriculum but also the environment, recognition for the degree, gaining knowledge and enhancing skills are equally important in order to find employment.

A Bachelor’s Degree is often a pre-requisite of many employers for jobs at managerial level. The BSc (Hons) Business Management and MBA from the University of Wales offered by IIHE are all recognized across the world. Graduates from the University of Wales produced by IIHE over the past years have had the opportunity to acquire excellent job placements in renowned blue chip and multinational companies. works closely with academia, government and development practitioners through inputs and efforts to enhance monitoring and evaluation practices in development programs, and through introduction of evaluation as a subject area that is cross cutting other disciplines. The final objective is to bring about desired change to improve and inspire lives for greater productivity and action, and inculcate an evaluative and reflective culture

The IIHE BSc (Hons) Management Degree Program follows a well structured curriculum which includes a dissertation in the final year, making the curriculum very comprehensive, up-to-date and extremely relevant to the discipline.

But that’s not all; the Real Life Problem Solving (RLPS) module within the BSc Management program provides comprehensive and practical learning of the management discipline and produces graduates who can successfully combine theoretical knowledge in a practical scenario, allowing them to manage any situation with the best capabilities given to them via their degree course. This is an advantage given to all IIHE students.

The entry qualifications to follow any BSc (Hons) degree in Business Management at IIHE are simply 2 passes in the local or London A/L examinations. Exemptions are also offered for CIMA, CIM, HND, ACCA, ABE qualified students. Students can join the degree programme with pending results.

Finally Mrs. Goolbi Gunasekara states, “a good education is ultimately all we can leave our children which is of enduring value”.

If you are just out of school, make Imperial Institute of Higher Education (IIHE) your choice for the degree you want to follow. It is a choice you will never regret. in the development efforts in Sri Lanka.
