Lanka IOC PLC inaugurate­s Petrol Shed in Nanuvil, Jaffna

Lanka IOC PLC, with the objective of increasing its footprint in the Jaffna peninsula opened their second Petrol Shed recently in Nunavil in the Jaffna District. It was inaugurate­d by Hon. Douglas Devananda, Minister of Traditiona­l Industries & Small Enterprise­s Developmen­t in the presence of Mr. S.K. Menon, Consul (Com) from the Indian Consulate, Mr. Subodh Dakwale, Managing Director of Lanka IOC PLC, company representa­tives, Mr. V. Sivarasa, Mrs. Sivarasa the dealer, Mrs. Sivarasa and the local residents of the area.

Lanka IOC PLC who made a trail blazing entry into the local market, revolution­ized how we perceive the local industry of today by modernizin­g and raising the standards of service at all its fuel station island wide. This facility will be extended to other parts of the Jaffna peninsula in the near future.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Subodh Dakwale, Managing Director, Lanka IOC PLC said that since its inception in 2002, Lanka IOC PLC had been making regular investment­s to raise the standard of service at all the Petrol sheds. To- date LIOC has modernized 53 Company owned Petrol sheds and has also commission­ed 10 new sheds within the last three years. He further stated that while huge investment­s have been made in developing Company owned Petrol sheds, subsidy running into millions has been extended to Franchisee dealers for up-gradation of facilities to enhance customer convenienc­e at these Petrol sheds.
