For the first time in Sri Lanka - NDB offers the full range of banking services until 6pm

In another pioneering move, NDB introduced extended banking hours at all branches island wide; offering the full range banking services until 6pm on weekdays. Therefore through NDB, customers can now enjoy the true convenience of extended banking hours; while having access to a wide range of banking services such as fund transfers, utility bill payments, pawning, foreign currency exchange and remittances in addition to the traditional services such as cash and cheque deposits and withdrawals.

Commenting on the launch of extended "Full Service" banking hours, Chief Operating Officer of NDBIndrajitWickramsing he said, "although extended banking hours is not a novelty in the market,conventionally banking services offered after-hours are limited to a few. Therefore, NDB has yet again revolutionised the industry by taking a step ahead of the market to offer all banking services until late evening so that customers now don't have to rush into the bank during lunch breaks to get their banking done. We will be offering a wide range of personal banking services as well as business banking solutions such as issuing of Letters of Credit, Loans, Shipping and Bank guarantees and granting of leasing facilities for the convenience of entrepreneurs and the employed individuals alike".

"Amidst the strains and stresses of today's demanding lifestyles, managing time has become a struggle for all. Therefore, having to rush to the bank before 3pm to conduct your essential banking activity is a cause for anxiety and added stress.
